CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AT THE EDGE OF THE ARCTIC

Hailing from the Arctic city of Bodø, the club’s rise has been nothing short of extraordinary.

From playing in Norway’s second tier in 2017 to winning four of the last five Eliteserien titles and reaching the Europa League semi-finals, Bodø/Glimt has defied expectations and redefined what’s possible for small-market clubs.

Their home ground, Aspmyra Stadion, located just north of the Arctic Circle, presents a unique challenge for visiting teams with harsh weather, artificial turf, and a fiercely passionate local fanbase. But Bodø/Glimt’s success isn’t just about football. It’s also about purpose. 

Since 2019, the club has championed Action Now, a sustainability initiative rooted in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
